Packing a moving van can seem like a big challenge for anybody. Go into moving day armed with these tips.

First, make sure to disassemble your furniture as much as possible.

Then, to start packing the van, begin with your heaviest items, like your dressers or sofa. Load them in the back toward the cab.

Next, take your longest objects and pack them against the walls, standing them up vertically whenever you can.

After that, add in your boxes, stacking the heaviest items on the bottom. Keep fragile and oddly shaped belongings on top.
