A LITTLE BACKGROUND ON TARIFF PRICING
The moving and storage industry operated for many years with a single, common tariff called 400N. In 2007, to further a free market, the federal government ordered carriers to each set their own rates.
The Atlas Tariff
Atlas introduced its pricing schedule, ATVL 1000 (also called the “Atlas Tariff”) on January 1, 2008. In 2017, we revalued our services and introduced ATVL 1000TR, a restructured tariff that helps our agents and professional van operators meet the demand for Atlas capacity. The Atlas Tariff is the basis for pricing our corporate relocation services.
Working with clients, we develop agreements that lock in pricing for them over a guaranteed period of time. Contracts also help us secure the capacity to handle the volume of corporate moves to meet your expectations.
